time mangement

well i think it is good to come in to a job or an intern early so you won't have to worry about not being there or coming in late. So once you get in early you don't have to worry about if you late or if you may get a absence for not being there on time. Well to tell you the truth i really don't have time to do what i wanna because i'm always busy. Some how i get time and find time to do the things i need to do that's very important. Like when it comes to doing the internship i put everthing else aside and i go do that first because it's the most important at that time. If i started to become overwhalmed with things i think i would just put everything else aside and do the most imprtant thing and get to the second most important then so on and so on. But i haven't been over whamled with work yet. Accpet when i'm at the boys and girls club to many kids be needing me and i can't be in 12 places at once so i'll halp the one who asked me first then work myself around.





With my personality i don't think i will have any type of trouble with the work i will be doing because i wanna do something with kids and from my understanding the kids really do love me and they love being around me when ever they can. But the last time i was up there it was a lot of fun because we really got to paly basketball and i played with the kids. that was a lot of fun i let them win to bring there confidence up.

cell phone etiquette?

Well i took the quiz and it said overall i knew when to use and not use the phone.And it said but i don't always practice it.Then it said i can avoid the evil of stares from strangers, and that means i am willing to save myself from enbarrsement. But all together i think i did good on the quiz, because most of that stuff they were asking i don't really think i would have done for real. Like when they said what if a phone went off in the movies what will you do. I think i'll apologize to everone and cut the phone off and get right back to watching the movie.

well i didn't go to my service learning last week but my partner did and he said he had a lot of fun with the kids last week he say they played games and played basketball, i am very mad i missed last week because i wanted to see how some of the kids played. Because they're always talking about how good they are and i wanted to see them play. But i can promise i'll be at the one this week i can't miss another one because i really need to be there and plus the kids missed me and they were really looking forward to seeing me last week so i can't diappoint them this week.When ever Ms.Dana tell us to do something she says it very sweet and you don't have a choice but to go do what she say because she is a very sweet women and she run that palce very smooth like, she really try to make sure everyone is well fitted in and she makes sure everyone are safe and ok. She's that type of women if you messes up with her she gives you multiple chances. But once you cross that border line you are really on her bad side for a very long time. And she is willing to listen to everthing you have to say and more than likely she will give you a answer telling you what she think about it. and it will be a poitive answer, she's not an negative women she's very nice, and willing to help anone in need of help. all around she is the perfect supervisor i'll love working for her anytime she can even make the bad come to work early. Then she understands a lot of stuff.

Work place safety

task:1 Well the one way I could get hurt at my internship is if there is a wet floor and a little kid is playing around and I may walk over there and the kid may be playing and i'm trying to catch him so he won't slip and fall but instead I may fall trying to keep the child and safe and bust myself up. Then another will have to be when I go down that steep little hill at the internship while little kids be running up the ramp. I may be trying to dodge them so i won't fall on them and hurt them but instead i'm sliding down the ramp trying to dodge them and slid in to a little kid and may hurt them. And I may even hurt myself in the process. Either ways it goes someone will be getting hurt and severally damaged.

task:2 Well i found one and it was talking about how the fall rate was like 15% in 2006 and how it dramasictly changed and went down. But really it is really fatal and you will proubably die. Occupational fatalities caused by falls remain a serious public health problem. Like slipping and falling is like the deadlest death to have. I would hate to have to fall in my internship and hurt myself that's why they are trying to come up with some safety hazards because them little kids are going to run around and my boss won't be every where at one time and they may get hurt. And now there saying you can't be at more than 5ft or you'll be at risk of being hurt or even worst you could get death coming to you. But they are trying to make it even more safe now. Like they are trying to say don't go up to high if you don't know what your doing and you must always have help. Make sure you have a campagin with you so it could knock down the fall ratio. But over all there saying if you do anything when your around something that could get you to fall be very careful and if it have anything to do with a ladder have someone there to help you.

Task:3 What i've learned at the internship is that little kids are going to always mess with you and the only thing you can do is either put up with it or try and go to there level and be there friend and help them out with the things they need help with and better yet just have fun with them.I've learned that the people at my placement just put up with the kids and play with them and the little kids love them. So i figure if i did that they would love me to and i could paly with them as well with out them catching an attitude with me.A positive expericence would have to be when all the kids follow me around they all really like me and they swear up and down i look like a star they've seen on t.v..But i think not but i let them say that and joke around and i go along with it.I haven't really had any negative things yet. I look forward to just having fun with the kids and helping them with things.

Why do you think religions exist?

Well I think religions exist because they must want everybody to know what kind of way they lived and how they must have acted. And how civilized they were, and they must have wanted us to study how differently they're rules were from our. And they wanted us to see how they treated there young and for us to see how quickly they had to grow up. So all together they just wanted us to all what they had to go through and how hard life was for them back then.

communication Skills

1.Here are three different ways to use the written form of communicaton. One ways would have to be using the email to talk to your bosses and tell them what's wrong. Another one would have to be using the newspaper as another. And the las one would have to be by a letter. The other communication would have to be verdal. Like one could be by you and one other person having a conversation. The other would have to be by the phone, that would be the better one. Because you could get right in touch with the person your looking for. Or the other would have to be by demonstrations and such. Like if someone was death but you could act out what is going on to him. It is commuation if your able to do that. The last communcitation is through non-verbal things. Like one would be by the way you may dress. If you wear a certain type of outfit for what ever you do they'll look at you in a better more postitve way. Another is Eye contact. If you can look at a person in the eye while the both of you have a good conversation it shows alot of respect and they look at you in well mannerable way. And the last would have to be the way you speak. If you go in to meeting talking like your from the hood with no kind of well language they will look at you like we don't need that at other place.

2. As i was at my service learning spot i saw it wasn't good to use bad language. Because little kids pick up on bad lanugage very quickly and they'll be going around saying those words. But my communication with them was like me trying to be very nice. I had to hold my tongue on alot of things and i'm glad i did. And plus i relly look forward to my next visit there. Because i really like helping the little kids with there work and i know they like it when i help them because they always ask me for my help and not my partner they like me better. And the on positive thing that happened was all the kids look up to me. they always ask me for anything thing. Even if it's not homework. Like when i was talking to my boss i was like yes ma and yes sir. Then the next thing you know the little kids was walking around talking about yes ma and no sir. Then they were saying please and thank you. But over all i had a very good time with the little kids. I got to play with them in pool and i even got to play with them in basketball. I know they had fun with me doing that because i kept on letting them win and i know it made them fell good to know they beat an older person.

what does it mean to be civilized

Being civilized mean having a well being on life and living it to thwe best of your potential. And that means being able to have a well living culture and having a good look on how life is made and living it the way it is suppose to be lived. Then again it could mean acting like a well behaved person instead of acting like a big nasty slob out in the country.
